In 1999 ZORRO became a Born Again Christian and turned his talents to producing Gospel Rap music and writing Gospel Rap lyrics.
ZORRO has an unmistakable passion to evangelise through his work and this is evident in the lyrical content and clarity of each of his songs and the sensitivity in which he performs them. ZORRO believes that, "Although the Rap style of music is often associated with profanity, violence and sexual references, this does not mean that it cannot be changed and used to Glorify God". "Any style of music can be used in a negative way, on the other hand any style of music can be used to bring deliverance, healing, restoration, hope and love into the lives of those that listen to it".
