The name ZORRO was his DJ name before he became a born again Christian. He chose to keep his DJ name so that people who knew him as a DJ on the Soul and R'n'B club scene will recognise his name and be encouraged by his new lifestyle. The name ZORRO came from the film character ZORRO and signified his swiftness at 'Turntablism' (i.e. DJing and Scratching). Each letter in the name ZORRO now has a word linked to it: Zealous, Obedient, Rapper, Repented & Ordained

ZORRO describes his music as "an eclectic fusion of inspirational and uplifting Hip-Hop, Rare Groove and Soul, based on the undiluted Word of God".
